Practical limits in Sri Lanka

Long vehicles have a wide turning circle, low ground clearance and need space. Many roads are narrow, and speed bumps and potholes are common. Some hotels and venues have steep or narrow driveways. Visit the venue or ask the organiser about the approach road and the parking, and check the route in advance with your chauffeur. For hill-country venues, an executive SUV such as the Land Cruiser Prado is often more suitable.

How hourly packages work

Limousines are usually hired by the hour or for a set block. We offer custom packages starting from four-hour bookings up to multi-day hires. Tell us the start and end times, the places to be visited and any waiting time. Confirm what happens if the event overruns, how the extra time is charged, and whether fuel, tolls and the chauffeur are included.

• Send us the date, times, the places and the number of passengers.
• We confirm the available vehicles and quote.
• Ask to see photographs or inspect the car.
• Confirm the booking and the payment terms in writing.
• A week before, reconfirm the schedule; the day before, confirm the pickup time and a contact number.

What to expect on the day

The chauffeur arrives early, in smart clothes, and checks that the car is clean and ready. He or she opens the doors, helps with bags or dresses, and drives smoothly, because comfort matters more than speed. Photographs are often taken at the car, so pick a safe place with room to open the doors. Drinks inside the car, if allowed, should be agreed in advance.

Wear seat belts, keep to the agreed route and times, and tell the chauffeur of any change in plan. The chauffeur is responsible for the car and for the safety of the passengers. Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles under our terms.
