What renting without a driver means

You collect the car, drive it yourself and bring it back. You decide the route, the stops and the pace. It suits residents, returning Sri Lankans, long-stay visitors and independent travellers who want privacy. It is the same service as self-drive rental, offered for any period from 24 hours upwards.

What you need

Age 21 or over, and a valid licence with one to two years of experience
For foreign nationals: an International Driving Permit or a temporary AAC endorsement
Passport or national ID
A refundable security deposit and payment of the rental

Rental periods

The minimum rental is 24 hours. Weekly and monthly rates are lower per day; they are shown on each car page in the car list. For a month or more see monthly car rental.

Delivery and return

We deliver to Colombo Airport (BIA), Dambulla, Kandy or your hotel. Return at the agreed place and time with the fuel level you received. Allow time for the return inspection.

Before you drive away

What to send us

Send your pickup and return dates and places, the number of people, and your licence and nationality details. If you are a resident or a returning Sri Lankan, tell us how long you need the car, since longer hires have lower daily rates.
